This policy explains how ZFS Enterprises Australia (ABN 74 187 484 809), a sole trader based in Brisbane, Queensland (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal information. It covers this website, zfsenterprises.com.au, and the apps we release in the future.

Our approach
We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). In practice, that means we collect only what we need, tell you why, keep it secure, and let you see or correct it.
This website
This is a simple information website. It has no sign-up forms, no accounts and no tracking cookies. If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use this information to identify you. You can read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you email us
We use your email address and message only to reply to you and deal with your request. We keep emails for as long as reasonably needed and then delete them. We won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Our apps
Our apps are built to be local-first. This means the information you enter is stored on your own device and is not sent to us. If an app ever needs to collect or send information, for example to back up your data or to sync between devices, we will explain what is collected and why, in the app and in its own privacy notice, before it happens.
When you download an app through Google Play or the App Store, those stores handle your account and payment details under their own privacy policies. We may receive general, non-identifying reports from them, such as download numbers or crash reports.
Sharing your information
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information. We only share it if you ask us to, or if we are required to by law.
Overseas services
Some services we rely on, such as email and web hosting, may store data outside Australia. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.
Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect any personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Email us at privacy@zfsenterprises.com.au and we’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please email us first and we’ll do our best to sort it out. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
